                       April O.V.A.H.C. Activity Report

The first OVAHC activity for April 2011 was in Lawrenceburg, Indiana on Sunday 4/10 at Competition Go-Kart Racing.  A very exciting time was had when the fastest member was determined for 2011.  I seemed I managed the FTOD with a 20.26 second run.  We had only 4 drivers so my chances were better than when Jeff Porada or Don Klein drives. Doug Menkhaus was second in at 20.38, Tim Silver 3rd with 20.60 , and Skip Jackson 22.24 brought up the rear. Yes, we are talking helmets on, gloves if you have them, blue jump suits if you care, and petal to the metal if you dare. My run was one of only 4 under twenty-one seconds.  Doug had thirteen in the twenties, but.............

Afterwards we ate and drank nearby at an authentic Mexican restaurant for an early dinner. We all had fun and a good time with Doug's dad, Bob Menkhaus at Acapulco's.This place was highly recommended by the Menkhauses.  Next year we will do this again and you will want to BE THERE ON SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY. A good time is guaranteed for all.
